Our world-class facility in Montreal, Quebec, includes two test cells with the capacity to serve up to 25 engines per month. Capabilities include comprehensive engine MRO, test, component repair, on-wing services, and customized engine builds for military and commercial operators of CF34-3, CF6-50, and CFM56 -2, -3, -5 & -7 engines.

Engine MRO

We have over 25 years experience performing comprehensive MRO for CF6-50, CFM56 -2, -3, -5 & -7 and CF34-3 engines.

Component Repair

With more than 75 percent of non-source controlled ATA repairs industrialized at LMCES, engines stay in house and under our control – assuring we meet the very best TAT possible.

Logistics

We offer end-to-end logistics solutions including transportation, warehousing, spares support, and technical records management.

In-Field Services

When you can’t come to us, we’ll come to you. Our in-field services include module replacement, module refurbishment, top and bottom case repair, fan disk replacement, LPT NGV replacement, borescope inspection, and bore blending repair.

Testing Services

We host two test cells, full video borescope, and Non-Destructive Inspections including Eddy Current Inspection (ECI), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Ultrasonic Inspection (UT).

Laboratory Services

Advanced equipment includes and scanning electron microscope (metallic particles analysis), tensile machine, alloy analyzer, and metallographic examination, and hardness testers (including micro hardness).

Specialty Services

Our engineering staff has over 25 years of experience designing workscopes in partnership with operators to reduce the total cost of engine ownership. Our on-site customer team also assures the best responsiveness possible.

Technology Investments

LMCES is committed to continuous improvement of our services, with investments including Eddy Current Inspection (ECI), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Ultrasonic Inspection (UT), spot welding, shot peening, laser measurement, and a Sweco Machine & Wet Peening Robot for fan blade and Blue light inspection.

Virtual Customer Visit   ___

 

Lockheed Martin Commercial Engines Solutions implemented a virtual customer visit solution using a high-resolution video for customers who have travel restrictions and would like to remotely witness progress, work performed on their engines and material. Those live meetings offer virtual presence in our shop located in Montréal, Canada. This service can be used as needed to support numerous activities including and not limited to:

  • Tabletop inspection
  • Findings review during initial inspection
  • Updates on build progress
  • Scrap review
