Ilsa She Wolf Of The SS (1975) Sexy Nazisploitation

Ilsa_she_wolf_of_ss_poster_02

Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS is a 1975 American Nazi exploitation film produced in the USA. The film was directed by Don Edmonds, produced by David F. Friedman and written by Jonah Royston.

ilsa_she_wolf_of_ss_poster_04_0

Ilsa is Kommandant of a Nazi prison camp, who conducts sadistic scientific experimentsdesigned to demonstrate that women are more capable of enduring pain than men are, and therefore should be allowed to fight in the army. Ilsa is also portrayed as a buxom woman with a voracious sexual appetite for men. Every night, she chooses another one of her male prisoners and rapes him; however, due to her insatiable hunger, she gets disappointed when her current victim eventually ejaculates, and promptly has him castrated and put to death. Only an American prisoner, who can withhold ejaculating, manages to use her weakness to his favor.

The film was made on the Los Angeles set of the TV series Hogan’s Heroes. The series had already been cancelled and the show’s producers let the film be made on it once they learned that a scene called for it to be burned down, saving them the cost of having it demolished.

When Lee Frost and David F. Friedman‘s 1969 Love Camp 7 became popular in Canada, André Link and Cinepix’s John Dunning created a script for Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS. After offering to produce, Friedman agreed and brought on Dyanne Thorne to play as the titular character. Friedman is credited onscreen as “Herman Traeger”.

ilsa_she_wolf_of_ss_poster_03

Ilsa is patterned after real-life murderous female Nazi camp personnel Ilse Koch and Irma Grese.

Friedman (under the pseudonym Herman Traeger) put a notice before the film opens: “The film you are about to see is based on documented fact. The atrocities shown were conducted as “medical experiments” in special concentration camps throughout Hitler‘s Third Reich. Although these crimes against humanity are historically accurate, the characters depicted are composites of notorious Nazi personalities; and the events portrayed, have been condensed into one locality for dramatic purposes. Because of its shocking subject matter, this film is restricted to adult audiences only. We dedicate this film with the hope that these heinous crimes will never happen again.”

Your Brain Makes Its Own Version Of Valium

Valium, the anti-anxiety drug that was once the most popular prescription medication in America, might have a naturally occurring relative in the mammalian brain, according to a new paper in Neuron. Stanford University researchers have discovered that a protein called diazepam binding inhibitor (DBI) can have some of the same effects as Valium. Diazepam (Valium), belongs to a class of psychoactive drugs known as benzodiazepines, and can be used to stop epileptic seizures, especially during clusters of repeated seizures.

Cancer, rape fraud case bowls over Mich. community

Now the 38-year-old is charged with fraud, false pretenses and using a computer to commit a crime after state police found no doctor who diagnosed cancer. The charges come as those who regularly helped Ylen reel from the news that the man who spent nearly 10 years in prison for her rape was released last year, after newly discovered evidence cast doubt on whether she’d ever been attacked. “The fact that she’s lived this long is a miracle. But maybe it wasn’t a miracle after all. … I’m just baffled. Is she the biggest con artist in the state of Michigan or the victim?” Connell said. The fraud case isn’t Ylen’s only concern. In a neighboring county, she is charged with making a false report of rape just last year, even using makeup to create bruises.

Miley Cyrus singing about cocaine and ecstasy on her new single? Yep

In the second verse of the song (yes, the one that starts with the line, “To my home girls here with the big butts”), Cyrus implies cocaine usage: “Everyone in line in the bathroom, Trying to get a line in the bathroom, We all so turnt up here, Gettin’ turnt up yeah yeah.” Even “turnt up” isn’t just a banal term for having fun. According to the top result here, “turnt up” means “thee act of getting drunk and high to thee highest degree.” The second highest-rated definition reads, “A state of altered consciousness induced by alcohol or narcotics, also being happy and excited and energetic.” But cocaine isn’t just a solo star here; in the pre-chorus, Cyrus brings in Ecstasy (or for you science majors out there, Methylenedioxymethamphetamine.) “La-da-di-da-di, We like to party, Dancin’ with molly, Doin’ whatever we want.” “Molly” is a commonly used slang term for ecstasy

Field of dreams: A remarkable exhibition sheds new light on the dark history of the opium business

This rich quality of the opium experience helped explain its popularity. A huge number of Chinese men smoked, some occasionally, some daily and some so frequently they were known as yan gui, opium ghosts. Opium was called fu shou gao, happiness and longevity paste, and created vivid waking dreams. It was said to be an aphrodisiac, making it fashionable among the rich, who smoked expensive opium through ornate pipes in luxurious brothels. It also dulled pain, quelled appetites, blurred time and relaxed muscles, making it equally desirable for coolies, manual labourers who spent long, desperate hours engaged in back-breaking work with minimal food. Coolies smoked cheap native opium or dross – used opium scraped from bowls – through simple pipes. People smoked together in special buildings, where opium could be bought, prepared and consumed. Women smoked too, although in nowhere near the numbers as men.

Thieves Now Have Hacked Car Door Remotes

This is a real mystery. You think when you lock your car and set the alarm, your car is pretty safe. But criminals have designed a new high-tech gadget giving them full access to your car. It’s so easy, it’s like the criminals have your actual door remote. Police are so baffled they want to see if you can help crack the case. A Long Beach, Calif., surveillance video shows a thief approaching a locked SUV in a driveway. Police say he’s carrying a small device in the palm of his hand. You can barely see it, but he aims it at the car and pops the locks electronically. He’s in, with access to everything. No commotion at all. Then his accomplice shows up and hits another car, using that same handheld device.

Israeli site shows photo of kids dressed as burning Twin Towers for Purim, upsets everyone

People all over Israel are celebrating Purim this weekend, and much like Halloween, the dress-up holiday is a perfect opportunity for parents to show off their creativity and then display it on their poor kids. The winners of the contest for Costume of Poorest Taste are definitely 7-year-old twins Ilay and Nehoray, who dressed up as the burning World Trade Center towers with the planes still in them on 9/11. At least they spared us the jumpers. Publication of the picture on the Israeli news website Ynet prompted widespread condemnation. How would Israelis feel if Americans dressed up as a burning Tel Aviv bus, or Europeans wore a “train to Auschwitz” costume? some asked.

Doing very dirty deeds: Veteran porn star gets 30 days in jail for knowingly exposing co-stars to syphilis

The veteran porn actor known as Mr. Marcus was sentenced Tuesday to 30 days in jail after pleading no contest to knowingly exposing his co-stars to syphilis. The 42-year-old actor, whose real name is Jesse Spencer, was also ordered to perform 15 days of community service and serve three years on probation. His infection was discovered in July 2012 during a routine industry screening before he was to begin making a film. He immediately received a penicillin shot, but when he was rescreened 11 days later he still showed signs of syphilis. Authorities say he altered the results of that second test and returned to work the following day. Spencer is jailed on $200,000 bail in an unrelated drunken driving case. An email was sent to his management company seeking comment. Spencer has said previously he thought he was no longer infectious when he returned to work. Prosecutors said he took part in two adult movie shoots within a week of failing the second test.

Drunken lawyer goes berserk at cops

A boozy Brooklyn lawyer tried to skip out on a $6 taxi fare — then was busted after stripping off her panties and tossing them at cops while screaming profanities, police said. Cops they found a very drunk Stephanie Hendricks, 39 — who has clerked for an Oregon Supreme Court justice and served as a Blackmun Fellow — in front of a Williamsburg deli after she bolted from a yellow cab at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. The bawdy barrister, who lives with her churchgoing mom in Flatlands, pulled off her panties, showed cops her lady parts, then lunged at them and yelled, “Suck my p—y,’’ and, “Eat my ass, you f–king pigs!” police said. Man charged with having sex with pit bull at city pound

Perez was arrested after he and a group took a tour of the Chicago Animal Care and Control Facility at 2741 S. Western Ave. on May 29, prosecutors said. After the man broke off from the tour group, an employee of the facility spotted him going into a restricted area, prosecutors said. After the employee told the man to leave the restricted area, the man left but returned a short time later. When the employee returned, he found the man inside the restricted area again and inside a cage with a white and grey pit bull, prosecutors said. The employee found the man on his hands and knees on the side of the dog, and it appeared the man had just had sexual contact with the animal, prosecutors said. The man made “inculpatory statements regarding sexual conduct with the dog” to several employees of the facility, police said.

Weird Skin Color Illusion Can Reduce Racism

Here’s a novel way to reduce racism: Convince people their skin is darker than it really is. No need to break out the tanning booth. A new study finds that an illusion that makes people feel that a rubber hand is their own can make white people less unconsciously biased against people with dark skin. “It comes down to a perceived similarity between white and dark skin,” study researcher Lara Maister, a psychologist at Royal Holloway University of London, said in a statement. “The illusion creates an overlap, which in turn helps to reduce negative attitudes because participants see less difference between themselves and those with dark skin.”

The New Xbox One Will be a “Monitoring Device Under the Guise of a Gaming Console”

I remember when video games were about getting Mario to save the princess and, when you were done, the console would leave you the hell alone. The new Xbox one apparently wants to put an end to those days by turning the beloved game console into a 24/7 surveillance device. The Xbox One will bundle the Kinect – a device that captures motion and sound – with every console and its camera and mic will be always on by default. In fact, Xbox One will actually refuse to work if the Kinect is not connected to it. So the camera and mic will work even when the console is turned off. And the camera will even work in the dark. Yup. It will also be able to read your facial expressions and count the people in the room with you (there are also talks of charging Pay-Per-View movies PER PERSON in the room).

Max Headroom and the Strange World of Pseudo-CGI

I’ve come across people who believe that Max Headroom, the Channel 4 character from the Eighties, was a genuine piece of computer animation. But although he was conceived by the animators Rocky Morton and Annabel Jankel (of Cucumber Films fame) Max himself was portrayed by actor Matt Frewer, placed into latex makeup and a shiny costume and set amidst a range of technological tricks. Half of the frames from the footage used in Max Headroom were removed in production, resulting in a juddery look to suggest animation shot on twos, and Frewer was bluescreened in front of a basic digital backdrop. The crew even added deliberate faults to the “animation” – such as the stammer which became Max’s trademark – to complete the effect.

Large box of marijuana delivered to wrong Sacramento house

Homeowner George Burton wasn’t expecting any packages this week, especially not one this big, but Thursday evening his dog sitter brought in a large FedEx Kinkos Box that was sitting on his front porch. “It was addressed to me or a return address to me: my name, my address were hand-written on this package,” Burton said. The package had several different addresses on it, including one from Illinois. When no one claimed it at the Kinkos on J Street, the box was sent to the return address listed as Burton’s home of eight years. “We start opening it up and it’s filled with that packing Styrofoam, the spray-in stuff that’s hard to get through,” said Burton. “We break into it, I look, and say, ‘This isn’t what I think it is?'” The package contained 11 pounds of tightly packaged marijuana. Burton immediately called police, who were just as surprised.

Carl Hart, Columbia University Scientist, Confronts Drug War In ‘High Price’

Everything we’ve been told about drugs is wrong, Hart says. The vast majority of drug users never become addicted. Cops, politicians and the media have consistently told us scare stories overstating the effects of drugs, misinterpreting the science around them in the process. Hart’s own research is notable for focusing on drugs administered to humans, not rats, in a lab. It has cut against the prevailing conventional wisdom that, for example, crack-cocaine users don’t respond to economic alternatives. He serves on the highest body in his field, the National Advisory Council on Drug Abuse, which is affiliated with the National Institutes of Health.

Report: Israel Has At Least 80 Nukes

A new report from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) has weighed in with an educated guess about the Israeli military’s secretive nuclear weapons program, estimating the nation has around 80 “strategic” level nuclear weapons. The estimate suggests 50 of the warheads are for Jericho II medium range missiles, with another 30 gravity bombs to be dropped from warplanes. The report says it is possible that smaller tactical nukes could also be in the nation’s arsenal. If true, this would make Israel’s arsenal the smallest of the eight nuclear powers, though roughly in line with India and Pakistan who both, like Israel, are not signatories to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). SIPRI put their arsenals in the range of 90-120 warheads.

New Jersey dad wears Nazi uniform in court during custody hearing

“I’ve never abused my children,” Heath Campbell told the station regarding the charges. “I only name my children and I don’t think it’s right anymore.” The other children — 7-year-old Adolf Hitler Campbell, 6-year-old JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and 5-year-old Honzlynn Jeannie Campbell — were taken from the couple’s custody in January 2009, a month after the couple got into a disagreement with a local bakery when it refused to write Adolf Hiler Campbell’s name on a birthday cake.

EPA Declares More than Half of US Rivers Unfit for Aquatic Life

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has declared that an astounding 55 percent of rivers and streams in the country are in “poor condition for aquatic life.” The results of their first comprehensive survey of waterway health reveal shrinking vegetation cover, high levels of phosphorous and nitrogen, and pollution from mercury and bacteria—none of which are all that great for human health either. These issues pose a threat not only to 1.2 million miles of waterways, but also the coastal areas, lakes and bays that are served by those rivers and streams. Additionally, as the EPA emphasizes, the polluted, unhealthy waterways include vital sources of drinking water.

Iron in Egyptian relics came from space

The 5,000-year-old iron bead might not look like much, but it hides a spectacular past: researchers have found that an ancient Egyptian trinket is made from a meteorite. The result, published on 20 May in Meteoritics & Planetary Science1, explains how ancient Egyptians obtained iron millennia before the earliest evidence of iron smelting in the region, solving an enduring mystery. It also hints that they regarded meteorites highly as they began to develop their religion. “The sky was very important to the ancient Egyptians,” says Joyce Tyldesley, an Egyptologist at the University of Manchester, UK, and a co-author of the paper. “Something that falls from the sky is going to be considered as a gift from the gods.”

Is Success Killing the Porn Industry?
According to one estimate, there are nearly 25 million porn sites worldwide and they make up 12 percent of all websites. Sebastian Anthony, writing for ExtremeTech, reports that Xvideos is the biggest porn site on the web, receiving 4.4 billion page views and 350 million unique visits per month. He claims porn accounts for 30 percent of all web traffic. Based on Google data, the other four of the top five porn sites, and their monthly page views (pvs) are: PornHub, 2.5 billion pvs; YouPorn, 2.1 billion pvs; Tube8, 970 million pvs; and LiveJasmin, 710 million pvs. In comparison, Wikipedia gets about 8 billion pvs.

Coffee vs. beer: which drink makes you more creative?

The best time to have a beer (or two) would be when you’re searching for an initial idea. Because alcohol helps decrease your working memory (making you feel relaxed and less worried about what’s going on around you), you’ll have more brain power dedicated to making deeper connections. Neuroscientists have studied the “eureka moment” and found that in order to produce moments of insight, you need to feel relaxed so front brain thinking (obvious connections) can move to the back of the brain (where unique, lateral connections are made) and activate the anterior superior temporal gyrus, a small spot above your right ear responsible for moments of insight: Researchers found that about 5 seconds before you have a ‘eureka moment’ there is a large increase in alpha waves that activates the anterior superior temporal gyrus. These alpha waves are associated with relaxation, which explains why you often get ideas while you’re going for a walk, in the shower, or on the toilet.

German railways deploys surveillance drones against graffiti gangs

The drones, which fly at an altitude of 150 yards, will be used at graffiti ‘hotspots’ such as the big German cities of Berlin, Leipzig, Cologne and Hamburg, a spokesman for Deutsche Bahn confirmed. The use of drones against vandals is the latest indication of the growing civilian market for unmanned aerial reconnaissance. Over 400 new drone systems are being developed by firms based in Europe, according to an EU report published last September. The drones used by Deutsche Bahn cost 60,000 euros each and are manufactured by German firm Microdrones, which also markets the machines for landscape photography, analysing traffic accidents and monitoring crops.

The Unfiltered History of Rolling Papers

After tobacco was introduced to Spain from the New World in the 1500s, a tobacco trade developed in Europe in the 1600s. The aristocrats smoked Tommy Chong-size cigars, rolled in palm and tobacco leaves. When they were done smoking these enormous stogies, they would toss the butts on the ground, where peasants would pick them up, take them apart, and reroll what was left in small scraps of newspaper. “There was probably green smoke and sparks coming off of them,” Kesselman says of these early rolling papers. “It wouldn’t have been like they were smoking a new New York Times. They were smoking paper that had lead and cadmium and God only knows what in that ink, which would have been running all over their hands.”

The End of the Lower East Side’s Last Great Rehearsal Space

Much of Manhattan is a secret city, and few secrets are better than this: Below venerable dive Max Fish, behind grated steel doors that often vibrate with noise, is an old brick-walled basement room, pipes snaking overhead, a sweet smell of subterranean sweat mixed with old beer and cigarettes hanging in the air. Contained within: musical detritus built up over a generation—assorted amps, drum kits, microphone cables, and one stand-alone toilet shrouded by a Mickey Mouse bedsheet. This is the last great music rehearsal space on the Lower East Side. It will soon cease to exist.

How to Convince People WiFi Is Making Them Sick

In clinical drug trials, for example, subjects who take sugar pills report side effects ranging from an upset stomach to sexual dysfunction.

Breeding the Nutrition Out of Our Food

This health directive needs to be revised. If we want to get maximum health benefits from fruits and vegetables, we must choose the right varieties. Studies published within the past 15 years show that much of our produce is relatively low in phytonutrients, which are the compounds with the potential to reduce the risk of four of our modern scourges: cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and dementia. The loss of these beneficial nutrients did not begin 50 or 100 years ago, as many assume. Unwittingly, we have been stripping phytonutrients from our diet since we stopped foraging for wild plants some 10,000 years ago and became farmers.

▲ Scientists unlock gene secrets of opium poppy drug
Opium poppies, the source of illicit heroin, are also important for producing medical painkillers such as morphine and codeine, along with noscapine, which has been used for decades as a cough suppressant. More recently, researchers have found noscapine is also a potent anti-cancer agent, prompting clinical tests into its role in fighting blood cancer. The discovery that a cluster of 10 genes is responsible for the synthesis of noscapine inside the poppies means plant breeders can now develop high-yielding varieties. It may also help scientists in future produce the drug in factories.

Prosecutors accused Rosemond of operating a cross-country cocaine ring that shipped the drug to New York and sent the money to the West Coast
▲ Video: The Hazards of ‘Bath Salts’ – POLICE Magazine with more bullshit drug hysteria
A subject under the influence of bath salts poses a similar problem as PCP (a.k.a. angel dust) did in its 1980s heyday—a problem not easily solved with the tools officers have on hand. Less-lethal tools such as pepper spray or a baton are nearly useless, doctors said. “Talking rarely calms the situation and the use of blunt force may not slow them down,” said Sydney Vail, a trauma doctor and director of the Arizona DPS SWAT team. “O.C. spray may likely be ineffective as well.” Home or street chemists create bath salts usually using at least one of three chemicals now banned by the Drug Enforcement Administration—MDPV, mephedrone, and methylone. The potent mixture, which is sold on the Internet and in head shops, has the hallucinatory effect of LSD and stimulates users like amphetamine, said Dr. Jeffrey Ho, an ER physician and Meeker County (Minn.) Sheriff’s Office reserve deputy.

▲ Herpes verdict in Portland: Woman wins $900,000 after getting disease from internet date
The 49-year-old Beaverton divorcee was impressed when she met a 69-year-old Southeast Portland man on the Internet dating website eHarmony. He seemed well-educated, charming and kind. They had a lot in common, including that she was a dental hygienist and he was a retired dentist. On the fourth date — an evening that included hors d’oeuvres, wine and a few puffs of pot — the two had sex. The woman was looking for a husband. Instead, she ended up with genital herpes. After enduring repeated painful outbreaks of the disease and spiraling into clinical depression, she filed a lawsuit. Last week after a four-day trial, a Multnomah County jury awarded her nearly every dollar she was asking for: $900,000 for her pain and suffering. It was the first time a case of one person suing another for intentionally transmitting herpes went to trial in Oregon, said the attorneys who tried and researched the case.

According to investigators, the boy was with his family in front of the United Airlines ticket counter when Mellen walked up to the family and struck the boy in the forehead with a closed fist. “He just walked along, and out the blue hit the kid straight in the head,” said Wayne Clark, director of aviation security at JIA. “No apparent reason why he would do this.” Clark said Mellen hit the boy so hard that the boy fell to the ground and his head bounced on the surface. “The kid fell rather violently on the floor,” Clark said. Ellen Lehnert was traveling that day and witnessed the punch. “We were real baffled about why,” Lehnert, who’s from Illinois, said in a phone interview. “I felt really, really bad for the child. The mother had told me that the child didn’t know where he was after that, so my guess is the kid hit the child hard enough he might have given him a concussion or something.” Thanks Jasmine

▲ In China, millions make themselves at home in caves
More than 30 million Chinese people live in caves, many of them in Shaanxi province where the Loess plateau, with its distinctive cliffs of yellow, porous soil, makes digging easy and cave dwelling a reasonable option. Each of the province’s caves, yaodong, in Chinese, typically has a long vaulted room dug into the side of a mountain with a semicircular entrance covered with rice paper or colorful quilts. People hang decorations on the walls, often a portrait of Mao Tse-tung or a photograph of a movie star torn out of a glossy magazine. The better caves protrude from the mountain and are reinforced with brick masonry. Some are connected laterally so a family can have several chambers. Electricity and even running water can be brought in. “Most aren’t so fancy, but I’ve seen some really beautiful caves: high ceilings and spacious with a nice yard out front where you can exercise and sit in the sun,” said Ren, who works as a driver and is the son of a wheat and millet farmer.
▲ Apartment Depot Hardware in Hamilton Heights gets busted
THE CITY took an unusual step this month on its long-running battle against graffiti by shutting down an upper Manhattan hardware store that sold spray paint to minors, officials said. Cops zeroed in on Apartment Depot Hardware on Broadway near W. 142nd St. in Hamilton Heights after several people busted for tagging in the neighborhood said they bought their paint from the store, cops said Friday. “We just went for the source,” a police source said. The shop, run by Jose Tejada, 42, was shuttered May 4 for six days after it allegedly sold spray paint to 18-year-old auxiliary officers posing as regular teens three times between May and November last year, court papers show. City law prohibits selling spray paint to anyone under the age of 21. Because there were three incidents, the city was able to shut the store under its nuisance-abatement law, which is typically used to shutter spots suspected in drug dealing, gambling or prostitution.
▲ Orvillecopter – A Dead Cat Turned into a Helicopter
Like many other animal lovers, Dutch artist Bart Jansen found it hard to part with his pet cat, Orville, after he was hit by a car. So he decided to turn the dead feline into a unique piece of artwork called the Orvillecopter. Jansen named his beloved pet after the famous aviator Orville Wright, so I guess it makes perfect sense that he decided to turn the cat into a remote-controlled helicopter. After having the Orville stuffed by a taxidermist, the artist teamed up with radio-controlled helicopter expert Arjen Beltman to make the cat fly for the first time. Beltman designed a custom mechanism and attached it to the stuffed cat to create a truly bizarre flying machine called the Orvillecopter. Bart Jansen unveiled his unique creation on Saturday, at the Kunstrai art festival in Amsterdam, and described it as half cat, half machine.

▲ Oliver Stone calls on U.S. military to stop ‘violently dismembering live animals’
Oscar-winning director Oliver Stone has urged the U.S. Department of Defense in a recent video to stop using thousands of goats in medical training drills. “Each year, the U.S. military and its contractors shoot, stab, mutilate, burn, and kill more than 10,000 live animals in cruel and archaic trauma training exercises,” Stone said in the video, produced by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The video utilizes leaked footage of a Coast Guard trauma training drill, where live anesthetized goats had their limbs cut off and were stabbed to simulate injuries. The Associated Press reported in April that other branches of the military use similar training techniques on goats and pigs.

▲ British citizen arrested in Thailand on suspicion of smuggling babies’ corpses
A British citizen has been arrested in Bangkok on suspicion of smuggling human infant corpses for use in black magic rituals after the bodies of six babies were found in a suitcase in a hotel room, Thai police have said. Chow Hok Kuen, 28, a British citizen born in Hong Kong of Taiwanese parents, was arrested in Bangkok’s Chinatown and was being held for possession of human remains, according to reports. The bodies belonged to babies aged between two and seven months, Wiwat Kumchumnan, sub-division chief of the police’s children and women protection unit, told Reuters, though other reports suggested they were aborted human foetuses rather than dead full-term babies. Photographs obtained by Reuters appeared to show corpses too small to have survived to term. Some of the remains had been covered in gold leaf, said police, apparently for use in black magic rituals.
▲ Pirates making hundreds of millions in ransoms, as attacks intensify off Somali coast
Pirates took in an estimated $160 million in ransoms last year, and one study predicts the number will climb to $400 million by 2015, as the high seas thieves continue their brazen reign on the Indian Ocean. Efforts by shipping companies to beef up security, and by the European Union, which has mounted airstrikes on pirate ships, have so far been met with stepped-up attacks. Chillingly, pirates are now chopping off the limbs of captives in extreme cases when the airdrop of cash isn’t made quickly enough to suit them. “It’s an established, structured model, where you have Somalis who are leading and financing operations and then you have pirates who actually go out to sea and conduct the activity,” Brian Green, chief of the counter-piracy branch of the Office of Naval Intelligence, told FoxNews.com of the piracy industry. “They are, more or less, foot soldiers. They find targets of opportunity, attack them with the goal of hijacking and bringing that vessel back to Somalia.”

Addicted To Urine

✪ ‘SMUGGLER’: None-too-subtle license plate nets aspiring drug runner
Here’s a tip for all the would-be drug runners out there – don’t move kilos of cocaine in a car with a personalized license plate reading “SMUGGLER.” Federal investigators contend a woman was caught in Blaine doing just that late last year. According to recently released court documents, Homeland Security agents in mid-December received a tip of an expected drug deal at a Bellingham Pizza Hut. Writing the court, a criminal investigator with Homeland Security Investigations said he and other agents set up surveillance at the Pizza Hut on Samish Way after being told a woman taking cocaine to Canada might be stopping there. As agents looked on, the owner of a Blaine bed and breakfast called the Smuggler’s Inn pulled into the parking lot behind the wheel of a GMC Yukon, the HSI investigator told the court. The SUV’s license plate read SMUGGLER.
✪ Woman Addicted to Drinking Her Own Urine
What makes Carrie’s condition all the more weird is that she doesn’t just drink urine from a glass. I watched this video of a program about her on the TLC channel, where she gathers up the courage to confess her habit to her friend Denise. During the confession, she describes in detail exactly what she does with the urine. Some of it goes in the regular way, through a glass. But then she puts some of it in a Neti pot and drinks it nasally. And some, she actually drinks through her eyes using an eye cup. She even brushes her teeth with it, and saves some so that she can rub aged urine all over her skin. Carrie says that it’s the nasal drinking that hurts the most. “The pain is different than any pain you’ve experienced.”
✪ Electric Youth: Why Susan Linn and the Campaign for a Commercial Free Childhood Terrify Child Advertisers
The CCFC, as the group is known, is concerned with two overlapping issues: the amount of time children spend in front of an ever-growing array of screens — TVs, computers, smartphones, tablets — and the marketing messages they are subjected to while glued to them. Under Linn’s direction, the group has taken on some of the biggest and most powerful corporations in the world. It forced Kellogg to remove SpongeBob SquarePants and other cartoon characters from the packaging of foods that were light on nutritional value. It got Hasbro to shelve plans for a new line of dolls based on the sexpot pop act the Pussycat Dolls (“Don’t cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?”) that made Bratz dolls look like fat prudes. (If you aren’t familiar with Bratz dolls, by the way, they’re the ones that make Barbie look like a fat prude.) And when Linn found out that a Needham company called BusRadio was airing advertisements on school buses, she organized a campaign that led to the demise of the business
✪ Tom Hanks, Glenn Frey in 2004: ‘Blackface,’ race jokes at fundraising auction [VIDEO]
The 2004 auction’s routine included a white man in blackface, identified in the footage as investment banker James Montgomery, CEO of the Santa Monica, Calif., firm Montgomery & Co. In addition to blackface makeup and the wig, Montgomery wore a leopard-print toga and an arm band made to look like it consisted of animal teeth. During a lull in the auction, Frey refers to Montgomery and comments, “See how boring money management and stock investment is, people? It’s not nearly as much fun as, like, professional basketball.” In response to the video, Congress of Racial Equality national spokesperson Niger Innis has called on President Obama to remove Hanks’ narration from his campaign film. Innis called the incident “an orchestrated, heinous, and racist ‘Stepin Fetchit’ routine that Mr. Hanks was a part of.”

Context: The slide we were on just before was about Female Sexual Selection. For instance, female peacocks have selection in their mates, preferring the males with the bigger train of feathers.. Somehow she went off on some tangent with a question about how does Evolution play a role in the killing of all black people… Dr. Kajiura tried to answer her question even though he had no idea what she was talking about. She repeated her question 4-5 more times and it turned into this craziness you see here… Clearly, this person has some SERIOUS emotional issues within herself and the discussion of PEACOCKS was the catalyst to the unleashing of this insanity. She was escorted out of class and I heard she was tasered and arrested by the police.
✪ Hitler’s Los Angeles bunker from which he planned to run Nazi empire after the war
It sounds like the bizzare script of a Hollywood B-movie. In a parallel universe the Nazis have won the war, Adolf Hitler moves to LA where he mingles with the stars of the silver screen while running his evil empire from a luxurious ranch deep in the LA hills. But during the 1930s, American sympathisers were so confident this exact scenario was actually going happen they spent millions building a deluxe compound ready for their fuhrer’s imminent arrival.
✪ Copyright group wants libraries to pay for reading books to kids
“Twice a month, the library in Dilbeek welcomes about 10 children to introduce them to the magical world of books,” Wauters explains, citing a report in the local newspaper. “A representative of the library in question is quoted in the De Morgen report as saying there’s no budget to compensate people who read to the kids, relying instead on volunteers.” “Each time a dozen or so children attend,” library worker Alexandra Vervaecke told the newspaper. “A while ago we were suddenly contacted by SABAM and told that we have to pay. I have done the calculations: for us it would amount to 250 euro per year.” That would amount to over $300 for just this one small local library. Vervaecke added that even older works, like Grimm’s Fairy Tales, are not exempt from SABAM’s fees, because any current edition of the stories would be under copyright.
✪ Eighth-grade boy sells nude ‘sexts’ of girlfriend for $5 apiece
In yet another sexting scandal involving minors, an 8th grade boy in Massachussets allegedly sold nude “sexts” of his 8th-grade girlfriend to his classmates for $5 apiece, ABC News reports. Sexting – the sending of nude pictures via text message – is nothing new among U.S. teens: About one in five teens admits to participating in sexting, according to the National Campaign to Support Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy. But the selling of these sexts to other teens is far less common. “It’s horrifying, it’s absolutely horrifying,” a mother told ABC News. Police said that because the girl is a minor and because the sexting transaction involved money, this may be a child pornography case.
✪ Heroin more cost-effective than methadone: study
Using a medically prescribed form of heroin to treat addicts is less costly and more beneficial in the long run than regular methadone therapy, a recent study suggests. The prescribed form of heroin, known diacetylmorphine, is generally considered more expensive than methadone therapy. But researchers have found that addicts who are given the pricier option stay in treatment longer and are less likely to relapse, and therefore be involved with drug-related criminal activity such as robberies to support a drug habit, leading to long-term savings. The findings, published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, hint that heroin-assisted therapy is both medically helpful for patients and an economically-wise choice for society.
✪ The Obama Administration: All Your Privacy And All Your Stuff Belong To Us
But even if we gave up all of our privacy, even if we gave up all of our liberties and our freedoms, and even if we gave the government all of our stuff they still would not be able to keep us safe. It is inevitable that evil people are going to do evil things, and if you are counting on the Obama administration to keep you safe then you are being delusional. Obama is not going to save us from anything. But Obama will gladly take away our rights and our freedoms if the American people allow him to. The Obama administration seems to have an endless lust for more power. Sadly, if we do give away our rights it will have some very serious consequences. If we freely give away all of the rights that we have been given under the U.S. Constitution it will be incredibly difficult to ever get them back.
✪ Swimsuit Model Accused of Heading International Drug Ring Captured
The international swimsuit model accused of being the mastermind of a worldwide drug ring run out of a Hollywood apartment has been arrested in Australia after skipping out on bail over a month ago. Simone Farrow, who was once the face of the Ed Hardy brand of bikinis, used 19 different aliases to ship methamphetamine around the world by FedEx and even the postal service, according to the Drug Enforcement Agency and Australian police.
✪ Neuroscientist Marc Lewis on His First Acid Trip
Gravitational Shift: It’s interesting to note that serotonin is once again the target of a culturewide chemical invasion—except that the serotonin drugs we favor today shift human experience in the opposite direction from LSD. SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) like paroxetine (Paxil) and fluoxetine (Prozac) are the most prescribed pills in the U.S., used to treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and undefined feelings of ickiness. Instead of getting rid of serotonin, these drugs block the reabsorption process so that serotonin keeps piling up in the synapses. The result: an extra-thick blanket of serotonin that filters out the intrusions of anguish and anxiety, making our inner worlds more secure. Instead of turning on, tuning in, and dropping out, they help us turn off, tune out, and drop in—into a solipsistic safety zone, protected from too much reality.
✪ The CIA wants to spy on you through your TV: Agency director says net-connected gadgets will ‘transform’ surveillance
When people download a film from Netflix to a flatscreen, or turn on web radio, they could be alerting unwanted watchers to exactly what they are doing and where they are. Spies will no longer have to plant bugs in your home – the rise of ‘connected’ gadgets controlled by apps will mean that people ‘bug’ their own homes, says CIA director David Petraeus. The CIA claims it will be able to ‘read’ these devices via the internet – and perhaps even via radio waves from outside the home. Everything from remote controls to clock radios can now be controlled via apps – and chip company ARM recently unveiled low-powered, cheaper chips which will be used in everything from fridges and ovens to doorbells. The resultant chorus of ‘connected’ gadgets will be able to be read like a book – and even remote-controlled, according to CIA CIA Director David Petraeus, according to a recent report by Wired’s ‘Danger Room’ blog.
✪ Magic mushroom house likely inspired by taking mushrooms
Peter and Patty Findlay own what’s undoubtedly the strangest house in Aspen, Colo.: a multilevel home shaped like a giant mushroom. The mind-altering abode, built in the 1970s by architect Andre Ulrych while he was supposedly under the influence of one or more hallucinogens, is designed in the shape of a nautilus shell, and, according to Patty Findlay, “There’s always two to three ways out of every space.” (Drug-induced paranoia, perhaps?) Andy Warhol once visited the Magic Mushroom House, and Hugh Hefner threw a pajama party here (we’d need to be on ‘shrooms to be a part of that).
✪ Victim of the Media: Rare Bunny With No Ears Crushed by Cameraman
A baby rabbit born with no ears was being filmed by a news team when the cameraman stepped on him by mistake on Wednesday. The bunny didn’t suffer, said the distraught director of the zoo in Germany who had hoped to turn the rare rabbit into a media star.
✪ Is your TV watching you? Latest models raise concerns
Samsung’s 2012 top-of-the-line plasmas and LED HDTVs offer new features never before available within a television including a built-in, internally wired HD camera, twin microphones, face tracking and speech recognition. While these features give you unprecedented control over an HDTV, the devices themselves, more similar than ever to a personal computer, may allow hackers or even Samsung to see and hear you and your family, and collect extremely personal data.
✪ Operation Midnight Climax: How the CIA Dosed S.F. Citizens with LSD
Now in his mid-eighties and living in San Jose, Ritchie may be among the last of the living victims of MK-ULTRA, a Central Intelligence Agency operation that covertly tested lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) on unwitting Americans in San Francisco and New York City from 1953 to 1964. “I remember that night very clearly, yes I do,” he said in a recent interview. “I was paranoid. I got down to where I thought everyone was against me. The whole world was against me.” After the day had bled into night on Dec. 20, 1957, Ritchie returned to his office in the Post Office Building and retrieved two service revolvers from his locker. He was going rogue. “I decided if they want to get rid of me, I’ll help them. I’ll just go out and get my guns from my office and hold up a bar,” Ritchie recalls. “I thought, ‘I can get enough money to get my girlfriend an airline ticket back to New York, and I’ll turn myself in.’ But I was unsuccessful.”
✪ New ‘legal’ LSD-like drug under investigation
A friend of Von Keisenberg created a website for Dime and sold the drug online, at $30 for two capsules, making it one of the cheapest synthetic highs on the market. A user of Dime called Nick (not his real name) told Close Up the new drug, which is snorted, was potent. “It’s very heavy, very intense. You can feel nauseaous for the first half an hour or so. After that you’re just enjoying basically everything for at least a good six to ten hours. It’s an all round party buzz.” Dime’s marketing said the drug brings on an “amazing high”, “beautiful visuals” and “increased energy”. Illegal substance But Close Up commissioned the drug to be tested at ESR, the government-owned laboratory. Tests revealed Dime contains 25C-NBOMe, a Class C drug, which is an analogue – a modified version – of a Class A drug called “DOB”. The drug 25C-NBOMe is a designer hallucinogen which been in the market in Europe and Australia for up to five years, according to Dr Paul Quigley
✪ Behind the Latest Bust at High Times Magazine
For almost forty years, High Times magazine has been the premier advocacy rag for marijuana, serving the passionate smoker much as Fox News and MSNBC serve the partisan political junkie. But in their effort to push out “the word of marijuana … the word of legalization … the word of growing,” as managing editor Natasha Lewin has put it, magazine staffers (and one can confidently say readers too) have inevitably pushed up against the law. Some are not just blowing smoke, but smuggling and dealing it too. Sometimes by the ton. The latest alleged High Times trafficker is Matthew Woodstock Stang, known as “Magazine Guy” in the marijuana underworld. By day he’s employed as an advertising executive and senior writer for the magazine; by night, according to the Manhattan district attorney’s office, he’s a wholesaler in one of the city’s largest and longest-running marijuana rings.
✪ Asian leaf ‘kratom’ making presence felt in US emergency rooms
The leaf, which is indigenous to Southeast Asia, has been around for thousands of years, and proponents argue that it is safe and effective for many maladies, while having fewer side effects and being less addictive than pharmaceutical alternatives, such as oxycodone. In small doses, they say, kratom provides an energy boost — the plant is in the coffee family — and in larger doses it creates a mellow, sedating effect, acting on the opioid receptors. “Kratom makes people feel pain free, strong, active and optimistic,” according to the Website Kratom.com. It has multiple functions, said the site, which sells kratom leaves, powder and extracts from Thailand — “as a strong and reliable herbal painkiller, to relieve depression and as a social and professional enhancer to intensify communicational skills and induce higher motivation.”
✪ Becoming Johnny Ramone – Excerpt From Johnny Ramone’s Autobiography
For all my success with the Ramones, I carried around fury and intensity during my career. I had an image, and that image was anger. I was the one who was always scowling, downcast. I tried to make sure I looked like that when I was getting my picture taken. When I was younger, I was ready to go off at any time. My wife, Linda, and I would go out to the Limelight in New York, and I would see people and be able to freeze them with a look. People were even too scared of me to tell me that people were scared of me. I never felt out of control. It was just the way I lived my life. I was the neighborhood bully. I even beat up Joey, our singer, one time, before we were in the band. He was late to meet me—so I punched him. I was 21; he was 19. We were meeting up to go to a movie. There was no excuse for being late.
✪ AMERICA IS UNDER THE CURSE OF DEMON POSSESSED MUSICIANS
The sexuality of music is usually referred to in terms of rhythm, it is the beat that commands a directly physical response. Music with the heavy, hard beat got the name “Rock and Roll” when a disc jockey coined the term from sex in the back seat of a car. The rock beat is Satan’s sound of lawlessness. The rock beat is musical perversion. Every knowledgeable musician knows that the term “rock” really means a shameful act of lust. But that is not the only problem! The beat of rock is nothing new. Pagan, animistic tribes had the “rock beat” long before it came to America. They use the driving beat to get “high” and bring them into an altered state of consciousness. Traditional drumming and dancing techniques are designed to achieve the Shamanic State of Consciousness. You see, the beat is a vehicle for demon infestation.
✪ Rock ‘n’ Roll’s Hall of Shame
People have been asking me what secular albums are “safe” to listen to. As a good guideline, ask yourself this… “Does the band / music you wish to listen to include any of the following themes: Rebellion Violence Nihilism (belief in nothing) / Apathy Escapism / Suicide Drugs / Alcoholism Sexual Perversion / Fornication / Pornography Self-Mutilation Dissonant / Offensive Sound The Occult / Satanism Anti-God / Anti-Authority Cult-like Organization, Terrorism If so, you should steer well clear. The Bible, God’s Word, teaches us anything that promotes or embraces any of these factors is predominantly anti-Christian, and against all that God’s Word stands for. The following are just a few God-haters you should definitely avoid like the plague…
✪ Boston Bans Slam Dancing, Mosh Pits
Slam dancing, or “moshing” in a mosh pit, have been staples at punk, metal and hardcore concerts for decades. Now the city of Boston is banning the dancing, stating that is is dangerous and difficult for event staff to control. Mosh pits and the slam dancing that defines them are now banned activities after police cited a city club for allowing violent mosh pit dancing. Police vow a crackdown on what they called “dangerous behavior” and a “public safety hazard.”
✪ Dunkin’ aims at China with pork donuts, LeBron James
Pork donuts may not be palatable to Americans or Europeans, but the parent company of Dunkin’ Donuts and the Baskin-Robbins ice cream chains is catering to local tastes in China, where it aims to open another 100 stores in the next two to three years.
✪ Homeless people used as Wi-Fi hotspots
Which product at this year’s South by Southwest technology conference received more attention than perhaps any other? Homeless people as wireless transmitters. A marketing agency touched off a wave of criticism and debate when it hired members of the local homeless population to walk around carrying mobile Wi-Fi devices, offering conferencegoers Internet access in exchange for donations. BBH Labs, the innovation unit of the international marketing agency BBH, outfitted 13 volunteers from a homeless shelter with the devices, business cards and T-shirts bearing their names: “I’m Clarence, a 4G Hotspot.” They were told to go to the most densely packed areas of the conference, which has become a magnet for those who want to chase the latest in technology trends. The smartphone-toting, social-networking crowds often overwhelm cellular networks in the area, creating a market that BBH Labs hoped to serve with the “Homeless Hotspots” project, which it called a “charitable experiment.”
✪ KONY 2012: State Propaganda for a New Generation
KONY 2012 is less of a documentary than it is a highly efficient infomercial that is tailor-made for the Facebook generation, using state-of-the-art marketing techniques to make its point. Young people like “underground movements” and want to feel like they are changing the world. KONY 2012 taps into these needs to bring about something that is not “hip” or “underground” at all: A military operation in Uganda. Not only that, it urges the participants of the movement to order stuff, to wear bracelets that are associated with an online profile and to record their actions in social media. This makes KONY 2012 the first artificially created movement that is fully track-able, monitor-able and quantifiable by those who engendered it. In other words, what appears to be a movement “from the people” is actually a new way for the elite to advance its agenda.
✪ DHS Mission Creep: They Are Now Helping Arrest Prostitutes
September 11 provided the federal government with a bullet-proof excuse to further absorb and integrate state and local law enforcement, a project that has been underway at least since the late 1960s. Over the last decade, the feds have established a number of efforts to nationalize law enforcement and create a number of organizations designed to supposedly “protect the homeland” from not only terrorists – most handled by the FBI and the CIA – but all sorts of domestic criminals, including those who engage in victimless crimes such as drug use and prostitution. There are now dozens of organizations feeding off tax dollars dispensed by the feds – from FEMA’s Citizen Corps to Volunteers in Police Service and Infragard and beyond. In many ways, these federally-funded and organized groups rival the police state apparatus active in Nazi Germany and Stalin’s Soviet Union.
✪ Fort Worth Naked Man Sentenced To 18 Years In Prison
Officers were not only interested in why Jackson was at the warehouse, but why it was he didn’t have on any clothes. When questioned, Jackson said he was at the warehouse catching up on work and was naked because he was hot. When officers took Jackson back to his workstation, presumably to get his clothes, they saw child pornography pulled up on his computer. “His job description didn’t include prancing around naked while looking at child pornography,” Assistant District Attorney Martin Purselley said in a press release statement. When police ordered Jackson to present some type of identification he told them it could be found in the glove compartment of his car. Officers not only found the ID, the glove box also contained a bag of what appeared to be marijuana. Jackson apparently learned little from the July arrest since he was taken into custody three months later for standing in his garage, naked as children rode by on their bicycles. Thanks Jasmine
✪ Fort Worth Police Captain Fired For Searching Porn And Self Gratification At Work While In Uniform
A Fort Worth police captain has been fired after investigators found the officer had been using his city-issued computer to search porn sites. The captain, L.A. Harris, has also been accused of self-gratification while on duty in a city facility and in uniform. Harris had been assigned as one of two overnight duty captains. An internal affairs investigation found Harris had visited the sites while on duty over a six month period. In a statement, Chief Jeff Halstead called Harris’ behavior “absolutely deplorable.”
✪ Why Are Police In America Treating Women Like Dogs?
When I was growing up, police in America generally treated women with gentleness and respect. It was generally understood that women were not to be thrown around or mistreated by police unless they were being openly violent. But in most areas of the United States those days are long gone. Sadly, many police officers seem to make it a point to be especially mean and degrading to women. All over the country women are being openly abused and humiliated by police. In America today, women are being yanked around by their hair by police, women are being pepper sprayed directly in the face by police, and women are being brutally strip-searched in front of leering male police officers. This is not how a civilized nation should be treating women and there is no excuse for treating women like dogs. The incidents that you are about to read about are absolutely shocking. They reveal just how far America has fallen.
