Ernst Hofbauer (b. 22 August 1925 Vienna, Austria – d. 24 February 1984 Munich, Germany at age 58) was an Austrian film director.
During the early 1970s, in Munich, Hofbauer teamed with Walter Boos, Wolf C. Hartwig, and Ludwig Spitaler to produce the original thirteen films under the banner Schulmadchen Report (or Schoolgirl Report); the stories were adapted from books written by Guenther Hunold, while Guenther Heller composed the film script, Klaus Werner did the camera work, and the music was handled by Gert Wilden & Orchestra. Hofbauer and Boos were referred to as the ‘Titans of Teen Libido’. The films were classified as ‘sexploitation’, and were extremely popular, seen by more than 30 million people all over the world.
In the United States, the films were released in grindhouses and drive-ins, and the names of the films were changed to conform to American standards. Because the films focused on young girls who may have been under legal age in this country, the Schoolgirl Report series was eventually suppressed.
The Schoolgirl Report series was very interesting because the films portrayed many unknown teenagers and actresses who were vibrant, beautiful, naive, innocent, and unabashed. Most of the films related a series of vignettes to tell an interesting story. Hidden pedophile lust, co-ed skinnydipping, situations involving first-time sexual experiences, and encounters with teachers were all shown in the episodes. Interracial love affairs, male and female masturbation sequences, forced prostitution, rape, voyeurism, harmless erotic games, seduction, and erotic touching are also portrayed in the vignettes. Well-known German sex kitten Ingrid Steeger and the ever-horny Italian comic Rinaldo Talamonti play key roles in many of the vignettes. Rosl Mayr appears in almost all of the thirteen Schulmadchen Report films as an elderly lady with a comic role. She is perfectly cast as a comedic talent and is the only senior actress that plays a key element in many of the vignettes. Marie Ekorre, Sonja Jeannine, Christina Lindberg, and Birgit Tetzlaff are a few of the young actresses who titillate the audience with their erotic encounters. Friedrich von Thon conducted street interviews to discuss the plots in the vignettes, and many of the situations were followed up with a courtroom setting (the male actors were charged with statutory rape). The Schoolgirl Report films were classified as ‘soft-core’ eroticism, which is similar to the David Hamilton genre.
Ernst Hofbauer directed many erotic films in addition to the original thirteen Schulmadchen Report classics. Sex sells, and Hofbauer exploited consumer demand for R-rated movies involving young actors and actresses. He had a unique style that combined youth, eroticism, wit, and anecdote. His exploitation films of the 1970s appealed to moviegoers from all walks of life.
A chronological list of the original 13 Schoolgirl Report films follows:

René Laloux (July 13, 1929–March 14, 2004) was a French animator and film director.
He was born in Paris in 1929 and went to art school to study painting. After some time working in advertising, he got a job in a psychiatric institution where he began experimenting in animation with the interns. It is at the psychiatric institution that he made 1960’s Monkey’s Teeth (Les Dents du Singe), in collaboration with Paul Grimault’s studio, and using a script written by the Cour Cheverny’s interns.
Another important collaborator of his was Roland Topor with whom Laloux made Dead Time (Les Temps Morts, 1964), The Snails (Les Escargots, 1965) and his most famous work, the feature length Fantastic Planet (La Planète Sauvage, 1973).
Laloux also worked with Jean Giraud (Mœbius) to create the lesser known film Les Maîtres du temps (Time Masters) in 1981. Laloux’s 1988 film, Gandahar, was released in the US as Light Years. The US version was redubbed by Harvey Weinstein, from a screenplay adapted by Isaac Asimov. The US version was not as successful as the French version, grossing less than $400,000 on its release.
Laloux died of a heart attack on March 14, 2004 in Angoulême, Charente, Poitou-Charentes, France.
Roland Topor (January 7, 1938 – April 16, 1997), was a French illustrator, painter, writer and filmmaker, known for the surreal nature of his work. He was of Polish Jewish origin and spent the early years of his life in Savoy where his family hid him from the Nazi peril.

The shooting prompted the largest area lock-down in history. Hundreds of officers from local, state and federal agencies vainly combed a seven-mile area looking for an armed gunman in his 40s with a long, gray pony tail. Helicopters, SWAT teams and K9 units were deployed.
Children from nine schools remained locked in their classrooms for seven hours, unable to get access to restrooms or food out of fears that the suspect would enter a campus and create a hostage situation.
The FBI yesterday executed 40 search warrants around the US to gather evidence on the Anonymous distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks in defense of WikiLeaks last year—attacks which targeted Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and Amazon. And when the FBI comes a-knockin’, the whole house starts a rockin’.
Ars has seen posts from a private forum in which several targets of the FBI raids offer brief descriptions of the experience, along with the occasional photo of a beaten-in front door. We cannot guarantee the authenticity of these accounts, though we believe them to be genuine.
A 13-year-old Norwegian boy avoided being attacked by wolves by playing a heavy metal song on his mobile phone, the Zvuki.ru music web portal reported on Thursday.
The incident took place in the central Norwegian municipality of Rakkestad. Four wolves, who appeared before the boy when he was returning home from school, were scared away by the noise coming from the boy’s mobile phone, the Russian website said.
The song that saved the boy’s life was by thrash metal band Megadeth.
In October, the Chicago Police Department’s new crime-forecasting unit was analyzing 911 calls for service and produced an intelligence report predicting a shooting would happen soon on a particular block on the South Side.
Three minutes later, it did, police officials say.
That got police Supt. Jody Weis thinking.
He wondered if the department could produce intelligence reports even quicker. Next time, officers might have an hour’s notice before a shooting — instead of just a few minutes.
The solution: Weis is now consolidating the department’s various intelligence-gathering units under his direct command to improve the flow of information.
Video shows him backing away from police with the woman when the suspect tripped over a pile of snow from Wednesday’s storm. The woman ran away from the suspect toward police and held her hands up to cover her ears.
Gunfire erupted shortly afterward. Takoma Park Police Chief Ronald Ricucci said the suspect was killed.
In a letter sent Monday, Consumer Watchdog asked Representative Darrell Issa, the new chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, to investigate the relationship between Google and several government agencies.
The group asked Issa to investigate contracts at several U.S. agencies for Google technology and services, the “secretive” relationship between Google and the U.S. National Security Agency, and the company’s use of a U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration airfield in California.
Federal agencies have also taken “insufficient” action in response to revelations last year that Google Street View cars were collecting data from open Wi-Fi connections they passed, Consumer Watchdog said in the letter.
What institutions can you trust these days with your donations? The Associated Press reported today that the $21.7 billion Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria is a fraud where at least two-thirds of the funds were “pocketed,” and donated medicines were sold on the black market for profit.
The prestigious development fund is backed by celebrities like Bono, politicians like French president Sarkozy, and a cool $150 million from Bill and Melinda Gates. The AP wrote, “The fund has been a darling of the power set that will hold the World Economic Forum in the Swiss mountain village of Davos this week.”
Very interesting story, and not without ramifications for other states.
Walter Keane poses for a portrait at his office. Keane filed and recently won a lawsuit that resulted in several homeowners in Utah getting title to their property, even if they owed the full mortgage, all because of chaos introduced into the nation’s property recording system by MERS.
The attorney for another man in Draper, Utah, says he has won two other cases this way, and another attorney in Utah got a default judgment giving title to borrowers who owed $417,000 on a home.
Utah Professor Chris Peterson weighs in on the significance of the rulings.
The American Embassy in Cairo helped a young dissident attend a US-sponsored summit for activists in New York, while working to keep his identity secret from Egyptian state police.
On his return to Cairo in December 2008, the activist told US diplomats that an alliance of opposition groups had drawn up a plan to overthrow President Hosni Mubarak and install a democratic government in 2011.
Assuming someone in high places has an Internet kill switch, shutting down just the international connections would require a lot of manual work, or the preexistence of an infrastructure that can make this happen automatically through management protocols. Of course such a system would never be triggered by accident or by a disgruntled employee.
The old story that the Internet was built as a military network to withstand nuclear attacks is pretty much an urban legend, but despite that, it’s surprisingly hard to kill. It can be done, however, if you’re a government and you try really, really hard.
Says Crowley: “We respect what Egypt contributes to the region, it is a stabilizing force, it has made its own peace with Israel, and is pursuing normal relations with Israel, we think that’s important, we think that’s a model that the region should adopt broadly speaking. at the same time, we recognize that Egypt, Tunisia other countries do need to reform, they do need to respond to the needs of their people, and we encourage that reform and are contributing across the region to that reform.”
Rattansi: [paraphrased] but if Egypt can’t guarantee stability, what’s the point of all your financial support.
Crowley: “We rely on Egypt as an ally to be a stabilizing force in the region… that has benefits across the region.”
Rattansi: “Democracy would be destabilizing to the region generally, wouldn’t it?”
You’ve seen them.Perhaps left in a phone booth, Laundromat, or other public place. Maybe a Fundamentalist coworker or a street evangelist gave one to you. Perhaps a child gave one to your child at school. They have titles such as Are Roman Catholics Christian?, The Death Cookie, and Why Is Mary Crying? They are Chick tracts—tiny cartoon booklets produced by Jack T. Chick (“J.T.C.”) and his publishing house, Chick Publications.
You’ve seen them . . . but have you read one? Do so, and you step into the nightmarish world of Jack T. Chick.

Under questioning by police after the boy died at a Denver-area hospital last September, Johnson admitted she placed the baby in the bathtub and went into another room to play the Facebook game Cafe World.
She also checked in with friends and watched videos on the site while the boy bathed alone, according to an affidavit filed in the case.
When she didn’t hear any sounds from the boy after 10 minutes, she found him slumped over face down in the bathwater making “gurgling” sounds, according to the affidavit.
A Green Bay, Wis., woman opened a Christmas present from her children to find a refurbished vacuum — and a load of drugs.
Authorities say the woman found 2 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and 2.2 pounds of cocaine shrink wrapped inside the box. Sheriff’s officials estimate the drugs’ street value at about $280,000.
The offshore bank account details of 2,000 “high net worth individuals” and corporations – detailing massive potential tax evasion – will be handed over to the WikiLeaks organisation in London tomorrow by the most important and boldest whistleblower in Swiss banking history, Rudolf Elmer, two days before he goes on trial in his native Switzerland.
British and American individuals and companies are among the offshore clients whose details will be contained on CDs presented to WikiLeaks at the Frontline Club in London. Those involved include, Elmer tells the Observer, “approximately 40 politicians”.
The newspaper reports Sanden told police he was having sex with the 48-year-old woman whom he had known for a few months when he realized she wasn’t breathing. He told police he administered CPR and called an ambulance.
The woman’s cause of death remains under investigation.
Police said he was bent over and defecating.
According to arrest records, the officer also saw Wilkerson’s genitals.
Police said Wilkerson had bloodshot eyes, was unsteady on his feet and smelled strongly of beer.
Police said Wilkerson admitted he had been drinking. When asked how much, he said, “Enough, cracker,” according to arrest records.
A man who claims a rodent bit him on the penis while he was being held in a New York jail can proceed with a federal civil rights lawsuit claiming county officials should have had better pest control, a judge has ruled.
Peter Solomon claims in his lawsuit against Nassau County that a rodent came out of a hole in his mattress and bit him while he was jailed in February 2007 on a charge of menacing his wife. He’s a Vietnam veteran who says he was already suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome.

A new study provides some data: The hallucinogen kicks off an unusually intense and short-lasting high, with no obvious ill effects, researchers report in an upcoming Drug and Alcohol Dependence paper.“This is a landmark paper because it’s the first paper in which authentic salvinorin A was administered to human volunteers under controlled conditions, and it was shown to be hallucinogenic,” says psychiatrist and pharmacologist Bryan Roth of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, who was not involved in the research. “All we had before were anecdotal reports, where people had bought salvia extract from their local smoke shop.”
An NYPD officer charged in a scheme to buy $40,000 a week worth of an anesthetic drug popular at dance clubs and “rave” parties pleaded not guilty yesterday.Kifah Othman, 40, allegedly tried to obtain the mass quantities of ketamine from a retired cop-turned-tattoo- parlor owner who’s cooperating with the feds in a bid for leniency in a New Jersey narcotics case.
The ex-cop secretly recorded Othman saying he wanted the drugs, known as “Special K,” to sell with a partner “who operated in New York City’s Chinatown,” Manhattan federal court records show.
So we spend millions of taxpayer dollars on the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign — a campaign that has been shown to have almost no positive effect and, in fact, has even been shown to have a reverse effect. The advertising agencies they hire know this, so they keep trying to come up with a new and different approach that is going to appeal to kids today.
They even pay lip service to the idea that trying to use advertising by the government to change youth behavior is absurd..
U.S. authorities indicted a customs officer on Thursday for smuggling guns and drug money through Atlanta’s airport after they nabbed him in a sting operation linked to a big seizure of the drug ecstasy. As part of Operation Rude Beast, undercover agents gave customs officer Devon Samuels $72,000 and told him it came from drug sales. He smuggled the cash through the airport to Jamaica, where Jamaican undercover agents received it.
Samuels used his badge to bypass security and avoid airport screening, according to a federal indictment.
But after the charges were read, one of the jurors raised a hand.“She said, ‘I’ve got a real problem with these marijuana cases,’ ” Judge Deschamps recalled on Wednesday. “And after she got through, a couple more raised their hands.” All told, five jurors raised questions about marijuana prosecution.
And so it was that Mr. Cornell soon became the lucky recipient of a case of almost-a-jury nullification, as prosecutors soon found themselves cutting a deal to dismiss the misdemeanor possession charge out of fear that they would not be able to find 12 jurors in this marijuana-friendly state to convict.
It was the wrong kind of white Christmas. Two men on a Delta Airlines flight from Puerto Rico were busted at JFK Airport yesterday after their suitcases were found stuffed with cocaine, sources said.
Drug Enforcement Administration officials confiscated more than 92 pounds of the white powder — with a street value of nearly $3 million –in the luggage of Emanuel Rojas and Israel Rodriguez, authorities said.
The DEA had been tipped off about the men.

Last week Banksy declared that all profits from his current print sale would be gifted to Russian art anarchist group Voina. Known for drawing an enormous cock on a bridge opposite the ex-KGB offices, and instigating a sex party in a museum (see above). We spoke to the group (half of which were replying from prison).Voina (or “War” to give them their English name) are a radical art group concerned with challenging the Russian establishment on important political issues such as attitudes towards homophobia, race, and the totalitarian actions of the state, through creating outrageous and provocative art performances in Russia. Two of their members; Oleg Vorotnikov and Leonid Nikolayev have been detained for more than a month at St Petersburg Prison on false allegations. Don’t Panic spoke to the group.
Traci’s debut – and it shows Actually she was 15yrs old , She only made 1 porn movie at age 18 before FBI arrested her , so all her movies were made when she was underage , Some other pornstars investigated during the early 80’s and possibly appeared in porn movies underage include Alexandria Quinn , Kristara Barrington and Ali Moore , These other girls didn’t draw as much attention possibly due to the fact they weren’t very popular or overly attractive , at least one of the pornstars appears alongside Traci Lords in more than one movie , There is one movie were possibly all of the actors appear making nearly the entire female cast underage at the time the movie was filmed. Does this still happen today ?
Alexandra Quinn is a retired Canadian porn star who has been active in the industry since the late-1980s.Quinn’s first year in the industry took place before her 18th birthday. Age 18 is the legal minimum in which United States citizens may appear in pornography. Like the case of Traci Lords that came several years earlier, it was discovered in the early-1990s that Quinn’s earlier films were made before she was 18. According to a 2000 interview with Quinn, the discovery occurred when she forgot to bring her fake ID to a session and used her real ID, thinking they would not notice the difference.
“We know there’s a lot of traditional knowledge that is out there in cultures and has a lot of use and has been adopted in modern cultures — things like aspirin where the active ingredient is derived from willow bark,” said Fleischer.“So I think there’s potential to find things in these pills — or combinations of things — that might actually be useful.”
Touwaide cautions that researchers shouldn’t assume that ancient people left us texts about medicines without knowing full well what they were about and how to use them.
“We have found uses of plants which have been forgotten for years. My point is that if ancient cultures, over the centuries, have spent time, energy and money to keep this information, it’s not because this information doesn’t work,” said Touwaide.
